North Fork Alsea Thurs Report

North Fork Alsea. Went fishing Thurs because it was a nice day. Water too low (I knew it was) but went anyway. No luck, saw no fish caught talked to several with same story. Return numbers slowing at hatchery. Will we get enough rain to get fishing going before end of Feb? Sure hope so!

Should have clarified. I only fish below the bridge. With all of the people that concentrate at the hatchery, there may very well have been fish caught. Thanks for the info.

I drifted from Rivers Edge (I think that was the name) to just below 5 rivers. Three of us fishing and not a single take down the whole day :depressed: Water looked great and we fished hard, but no fish could be found. Should have been here yesterday I guess :hoboy: :hoboy:

Looks like we might get a little rain? Hope so, might be good if the water comes up a bit. Ya'll think we'll see any mo hatchery fish or was year kinda a slow one? Good luck.
