Detroit Lake??

Anybody fished Detroit Lake recently?

I'm gonna be up there this weekend and am wondering if I should haul the boat up and give it a try.........

Any reports?

I usually go by there a lot at this time of year with my snowmobiles and it is almost dry, but I have not made it this year yet.

They drain it in the fall to acomidate the rainfall and snow melt run off every year.

Drove by last saturday and saw about 15-20 boat trailers in the mongold lot. Don't know how the action was but a handfull of folks were trying. Looks like you will encounter a little mud at the bottom of the ramp? 4WD?
