one day last year my boat hooked 15 Chinook and killed 9 all on the willamette. at Oregon City. this might be the most unbeleavable story I got. My best fishing stories all come from my time spent on "THE MIGHTY NUSHUGAK RIVER" at my favorite place, Tomans King Camp. Everyday has life long and memorable moments, from the camp rousties eating the beating heart from A very fresh fish, or the time when the moose got tangled in the tent strings and nearly gave Jeremy A heart attack " He thought A bear was coming in to eat him", or the days that we all caught no less than 85 chinook in one day per boat the most being 125 fish in one boat in the regulation time of 10 hr. cut off. Maybe the story when Jeremy Toman almost blew all of us up with his fourth of july fire works display, or the guy who opened A $ 7,000.00 dollar bottle of wine to share at the camp fire".64 cents per drip we did the math" or how about the year that the other guides set me up for A fall when I was told that the lowest fish total for the next day per boat had to climb in the half full out house and build A new blast sheild. Hmmm which one to tell?

Well, why don't you tell a little of each story once in awhile and keep us giggling. Welcome to Ifish.

Welcome Killer,

The Nush is unbelievable, Bob's a great guy. I've got a video of a 39# buck jumping into our 14' john boat with 4 guys scrambling to get away from it....Classic!

I noticed the line coming out of your gunwhale with a trickle of water. Could that be the famous Bob Toman Butt warmer? That boat looks like a Toman boat, is it?

See yah on the water.

Great stories. Welcome aboard.

We had one day out on the Columbia last spring. There were three us of fishing. We hooked 13 salmon and landed 11 of which were 6 were clipped (a boat limit).
The only problem was we were steelhead fishing because salmon season was closed. :depressed:

Welcome aboard, King Killer. Please refrain from telling the blast shield story.....we smell what you're cooking already and outhouse humor won't play here.

We anxiously await the others!

I'm going to the Nush this summer for the first time. Going with fins, furs, and feathers who has read only spot on this board. Talked with the majority of the camps on the river, inlcuding toman's. Hope a made a good decision on the guide, Travis sounds like a great guy. I can't wait, sounds like incredible fishing!
