OK i am not given to bouts of optimism usually and especially after a winter like this BUT, if the smelt were to come early as then now appear to be doing on the Sandy then wouldn't it make sence that they won't be around later this spring when the chinook come in in larger numbers. And if they did wouldn't it stand to reason that the Chinooks won't have bellys full of smelt and wont that make them potentially more inclined to eat umm say a Chrome and orange 00 spin-glo ????
