Finreaper (my normal fishing partner) is working...I am not (heh, heh, heh)
That leaves an open seat in my drifter tomorrow (Friday). Fishing hasn't gotten as good as it will later...but should be able to scare something up. Will probably put in most of a full day. If interested let me know

we like to hear how the blind dates go!!!
3 half pounders and a squa..... a northern pikeminnow (are they northern pikeminnows in southern Oregon  ). Lots of HARD hits but neither one of could get the hooks to stick :depressed:
Started out with a light drizzle and then steady light rain. Had a good time. We saw wood ducks and otters too.

Blind date went well! Keta is great company. As he said we could only stick it to a few half-pounders. I don't know what was our problem... we got plenty of good bites and a couple of strong head shakes...but nothing big hooked up solid. The river was rising while we were on it, and overnight it muddied up. They're predicting rain for tomorrow so may be a few days before it drops back into shape.
Grantspastor, Did you try some of those jigs? You know they work. John
