Read an interesting post over on Bob's board regarding a Guided Fishing trip lottery.

Sounds like a great idea to me....

Everybody interested sends 3-5$ (Maybe a Paypal setup), and when sufficient funds are met a drawing is held and a guided trip goes to the winner. There are several great guides on here to make this happen.I spend $$ on Powerball, keno, etc. and these would be much better odds and not break the bank. Could be fun!

What do you guys think??

Actually sounds like a good idea, I'd be down. It should be a trip for two though.

I'm in. Take an IOU? I'd gladly pay you next Tuesday for a ticket today.

I don't know what it's like in Washington, but in Oregon, Lotteries and anything that requires you to buy a chance to win something, are highly regulated by the state. It's unlikely that it would be worth our time in light of the administrative and cost burden such an undertaking would entail.

P.P. is doing it in the way the money raised go's to a charity and Bob ends up doing it for free so it is a win ,win thing for everyone.

Sounds like a great idea graemlins/idea.gif Pete why not let the guides do the administrative work. If they need to book a day have them post here and we could use Paypal or Bid pay to send in the money when there's enough in the account they draw a name. I'm sure most of them would see this as an opportunity for an extra days work. Easy deal.
