Go with the 6501 C4; I think you will be happier and you'll be fishing with a more refined reel that the C3 Sp Edition. Cheers...

Usual sale price is $69 at either Fisherman's or Joe's. Regular price is $75-79ish. The special edition you are referring to, I believe, is the black and silver (black spool and black sides). If that is the case, when Joe's had their clearance sale, they were blowing them out for $49 bucks.

We'll be out there after 12 sometime so you'll be a ways down I suppose, I think were going to put in at Barton also maybe we'll bump into eachother.
What kind of driftboat are you going to be in?

Don't know if your going to be casting blades or not but one thing to remember is that I think the C4 has a 6.3:1 retrieve on it. That would probably be too fast.
