Fished Hard at KKP yesterday(zippo keepers), the gators were in concentrated areas, If you weren't in the honey hole then you weren't catching fish. Kind of funny to watch boats crowd in on the guy catching all the fish, even saw one greedy graemlins/berry.gif guy hook and tangle some achors .

My question is, we traveled down about a mile past the mouth of the Will. There were seals and huge lions everywhere, sometimes groups of 6-9 at a time. What were these creatures after, smelt, slimerockets? I was marking lots of fish at 40ft and then turned up the sensitivity on the finder and it seemed to be waves of little guys (smelt). Sounds like I already answered my own question, just wondering, any input would be great!

Slime Rockets...

While we were headingout to do some diamondside fishing we noticed a Sea Lion breaching the water. We headed over to watch just when we got there he had a nice 10-12 lb sticking out of his mouth, choping as fast as he could. By the wasy this was near the mouth of the Lewis. Later after fishing we headed back to watch more and they were everwhere, seals and sea lions.

In the mouth of the lewis we witnessed the strangest thing the sea lions were drifting in a pod of 6 head up and one fin up as a rudder. When one noticed a fish the Darn thing would leave the jpod and go hunt.

Fish are here the sea lions will be her through the springer season.
