Well with all the preasure to tell a storie, being a new frye and all. Couldn't have asked for a better day of fishing.
And a story to boot!!!!!!!!!!!
Started today on the North Fork Neh. O-dark thirty.Water not like I like it little low :hoboy: but we gave it are all for about 2 hours.Had the brother- in-law who is just getting started at this game we call fishing.Decided to head for better waters, the (wilson).Well after a stop for shrimp and snack we are in tillamook.Something told me we should go to trask haven't been there in a couple weeks. So off we go, water looks great get to the hole no one there?OOps didn't see that drift boat tucked up under the trees.Oh, But great they are just leaving as we get to the shore line.
Not sure how much time they spent there but thats ok.
Because about my 5th drift through FISH ON!!
Brother-in-law still re tieing after breaking off first cast.I believe we made 10 to 12 more drifts boom I got another fish on handed it to him chrome fish he landed it. thats 1 to 1, I guess?
Well it couldn't 10 minutes WHAM I got another fish on start to play it out when the in-law say's I think im into ya.Told him to let him spool if needed I could see we were weeving a baskit after brawling for a bit got the fish to the bank could see somethig wasn't right my corkie was 3 feet from the fishes mouth, the in-laws gear was in her mouth.
Get this I had hooked his slinkey coming down behind him in the drift he apparently didn't feel the biter he had and I drifted into his gear felt fish, set hook, FISH ON.
He couldn't seem to get any more to bite after all of that ?????
We both got a good laugh out of that hope you do to.
I really had to question who was responsible for tagging that fish even though I did mainly because I was the one who landed it'And he needs the practice!!! He' gettin there.

There are you all happy now

The stuff that happens when your fishing is amazing. You get to see the oddest of happenings. Thanks for the story. Still my favorite part of ifish. graemlins/applause.gif for taking the bro-in-law. I love to turn out new fisher folk and I don't have a clue on what I'm doing. Just go fish and take people with you. I've never had a problem of finding someone to clue me in on whats best. You may have to go thru a few culs but what the hay. Yhanks again. SS
