Or shouldwe use wiggel warts and what color?

Yes, best with bait (sandshrimp or prawn tail) trailer until water warms up a bit.

My favorite colors depend on the water conditions and location, but you can never go wrong with a "wilamette special" (orange and chartruse) with the chrome colored mylar wings. Other good colors are green, white, chrome.

This year I predict the hot seller for Spin-n-glows will be the flame orange with the shinny Mylar wings as well as the hot pink with Mylar wings… :shrug:

Well, you can never go wrong with watermelon green with eggs or shrimp or prawns or egg/shrimp.
That color even works for steelhead.

Here are the spin-glos that seem to do the best for me. Size 2 for salmon and steelhead and size 4 mostly for steelhead.

Any pattern with orange or green will work. Especially with the mylar wing.

I caught most of my springers (3 out of 4) last year plunking pink pearl with reflective mylar wings. No bait seemed necessary, though I did apply some herring smelly jelly.
