Hows the fishin on the lewis river ?

Thinking about fishing the lewis river on tuesday or wednesday, any body have a report, went last tuesday and wednesday, came up with nothing,

The Lewis is VERY slow....we fished there both days this weekend and only saw 4 fish caught! :shocked:
You might want to wait a while.

Fished the NF till around noon today. Saw one guy with two fish on the bank. Didn't hear of or see any others. Went over to the EF for a couple of hours. Slower there...... :shrug:

The lewis is slow, I might be going back down there for some night fishing so.

So far this winter, success on this river like pouring molasses taken from a cold cellar. Wait. No BS. Don't bother yet. Doc

Fished E. Fork on Saturday from about 10-4 and landed an 8#er.
Fished again today from about 9-4 and lost 1 (hook pulled out right next to the bank) and landed 1 native that was 39" long.

Pearl corkie with eggs in the fast water both days fishing from the bank.

They are there, you just need to keep casting and walking and cover as much of the river as you can. Pressure was very light on Sunday.
