Fished Eagle Creek today, started about 7 miles from hatchery down in the cannon, no fish hiked up to deadline talked to several fishermen, no fish.
Went down and fish from the bridge to the mouth, were 5 other fishermen down there, no fish again.
These winter fish are doing a great job of hidding from me, not one fish as of yet.
Sorry I didn't have a better report.
Good fishing.

Ten lb. I did the same route yesterday with same results. Supposedly the hatchery has 60 fish . And as for the report of a 22 fish day below R.Mill Dam that was pure lies. In six years fishing there I have never seen as much water coming over the top. Water vis was about 1 ft. Fish must be downstream on the way up..

I fished the canyon area today with my dad from first light till' 2:30. I caught 1 steelie at 1:15 on a blue fox#4 in a pocket about 12 feet long sorounded by white water. The only spot I fished a spinner all day. The steelhead had quite a bit of color to it. Talked to alot of guys today with no fish to report.
If you saw a red and white chevy pickup that was us.

I fished the lower part of the creek in the morning, then moved up to the park, guy next to me caught and released a small unclipped hen. As for me, big zippo!

Fished the creek this afternoon for a couple of hours after class.
Water was dropping pretty quick, but had some nice color in the right spots.
It will be pretty low come the weekend without any rainfall, but will still be fishable in the pockets and pools.
Me, I only had one bite.
A 35" 12 # buck decided to munch on my corkie and eggs.
Good luck !
