Keep an eye out for another flotilla event in the future on Oregons famous Deschutes river. Fly fishing,Spoons, spinners and jigs work very well but you fly fishers know all about the Deschutes steelhead willingness to come to a fly...even a dry fly. I might add that I did indeed entice a fish to a dry fly this past summer.....too bad it was a sucker :depressed:
There is a real nice state campground near the mouth with a large "group" area available.
We are going to put this together for summer 2003. I know it's a long ways off and will probably take place close to prime Bouy 10 fishing but any of you that want to fish one of the fabled rivers of the west won't want to miss this.
The rattlesnakes are scarce near the mouth by the way. :shocked:
