Tried around the Oxbow area today from 8-12:00. Water looked good - although a little on the colored side. No New Year's fish to report. Saw several bankies walking with empty hands. Here's hoping it doesn't rain too much in the hills tonight. Wilson is out tomorrow it looks like. Hang in there Sandy!
Thanks for the report sandi. According to the NWS hydrodata site the Sandy is still dropping slowly as of 2:00 this afternoon.
I'll be somewhere on the Sandy tomorrow.

The Sandy has been clearing all day but still high. There was approx. 15 anglers at Revenue Bridge and 20+ Rigs at Dodge, but a lot of those may be kayakers.
Any reports from these bridges?
Good luck,

Association of Northwest Rafters did annual Dodge to Oxbow drift today. 25 + boats, all just enjoying water sport. I talked to a few who said all anglers they talked with were empty handed and without action.
Water looked great. Couldn't dream conditions any better. I didn't see or hear of any fish today. I worked pretty hard at it for a few hours myself. OSP was out and had the same kind of report.
Tomorrow is a new day...

When I was there this morning the visibility was about 1.5 feet. If I waded out two or three feet I could not see my feet. There were tons of leaves coming down. If it doesn't rain tonight the Sandy will be prime tomorrow. I only had a line bump today and didn't see anyone doing any better.
