I took my boat out of storage today, after getting it dry for a month, and noticed that the full cover I put on this morning is starting to condensate on the inside already.

any way to avoid this, or keep that condensation to a minimum?

Put a heat lamp or small heater in the boat.

you might try a few of the dry eze products. i bought a few but i never used them. also you might try to figure out a way encourage air movement below your cover.

I put an additional tarp over my boat with a couple Dry-z-Air units inside the boat. Does a good job of keeping the moisture out.

They also sell electric power dryer units. Ive never tried one but Im sure they work better than the granular products.

I keep my boat in a enclosed storage unit. I have the boat completly covered with the top and back canvas, with two electric dryers inside to keep things toasty. I also open all the compartments, engine cover ect. Never had a problem with condensation........Bobber Down

good air flow will prevent it. It does on mine.
I have coved my boats with a tarp for as many years as i can remember. The secret is having good airflow in and out of the boat. The dryers work ok but the wind is free.

My wise old neighbor suggested I put a few bumper bouys along the port and star of the boat under the canopy edges to open up for airflow, and a 75 watt litebulb as high as I can get it, I will try the extra tarp too.

Heaters and heat lamps are out...inboard with fuel fumes might be dangerous.
Storage is a luxury I can no longer afford.

Thanks for the tips.
