I was re-organizing my gear the last couple of days and found my Salmon flashers from Bouy 10. My question is, why don't you see anyone using flashers when trolling in tidewater such as the Nestucca or Siletz? Would these work when pulling spinners? It seems like any extra flash would help.

Any thoughts on this or has anyone tried it?

We have used flashers ahead of herring successfully for Springers in the lower Columbia and Willamette when the water was not clear

I often use flashers when trolling plug cut in the Willamette for springers and the coast estuaries for fall chinook. Probably used them more than not this past summer/fall.

I thought this was a thread to talk about naked women.

I thought this was a question for my wife, (Flasher is her moniker here on I-Fish).
To answer your question, we use Flashers all the time, especially when trolling for Springers in the Willamette. Good Luck!!
