I am in the market for a smoker and looking for one that is a good quality smoker. $ 500 to $800 dollar range. I tried one of the bradly smokers and didnt like it couldnt keep up with 16 pounds of salmon. They have one at cables I have seen. Any one else out their know of any other brands available. Looking for stainless with controls for adjusting the heat to where I want it. Has to be electric.

Troller, you are out of my league. If I fill my Big Chief smoker 2 or 3 times, that is about as big a batch as I can do. Are you smoking turkeys or hams. You must also be doing some game.

I smoke the fish I catch and also want to smoke home made sausage. I get together with a couple friends of mine and we make batches of banger, brats, breakfast and other sausage . We have a mixer and stuffer that will do 20 pounds at a time. I would like to be able to smoke a batch up and also cure my own hams .

Hey Hoggeman, I have seen those I actually have the bently it wont keep up. I loaded it with 16 pound of fillets cranked up all the way and sat at 120 degrees for 6 hours. The smoke generator that feeds the bisquits sticks and wont feed. or sticks on and feeds all the bisquits. They can have it back actually I am taking it back saturday. The smoke shack one's they have at cabelas a little cheaper than the place you linked to . But I would like to talk to someone that has used one. Either that or I think I will go to the restaurant supply store and look for a used commercial smoker.
