spend no time with my inlaws, or as little as possible :hoboy:
Lose 13 more pounds that I wont have to pack down canyons when bank fishing.
Take as much time off work to fish as possible, then worry about not making enough money later!

Go fishing 200 days next year. That's close to 4 days a week. Since I live on the river, and can fish off my porch, I don't think this'll be a problem, but we'll see. Right now, I get about two or three days a week in now.
I'll be keeping a detailed log. If the results are interesting, I'll post them next year.

I did the stop smoking thing over 2 years ago. The thought of standing in a stream fishing with the little oxygen tank tripod along side of me did it.
Look, I'll buy your choice of gum for a year. Deal? It's really so much better! You could go on one or two guided trips with David Johnson a month with the money you'd save!!!!(If your really into the DJ kind of thing) You know he's waaaaaay overrated anyway!
I will stop now.
If anyone wants support, e-mail me.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am sure there are others too. Maybe we could keep track of some of these? (Or not, then I might actually have to follow through.) :hoboy:

To those who want to lose weight, a suggestion. Try the Atkin's Diet. Or even simpler, just don't eat anything with more than 2 G of carbs per serving. Keep total carbs below 20 G a day. You will lose 1/2 pound a day, every day, 'til you are at your target weight. Then slowly ease the carbs back in until you are stable.
Oh, and walking 3-4 miles a day doesn't hurt either.
In my case cholesterol fell from 240 to 170, triglycerides dropped from 350 to 70 and blood pressure went from 140/90 to 120/60.
I look back at my pictures of 5 years ago and wonder what it felt like to haul around 62 extra pounds.

My wife told me that I needed to lose some dead weight. So I guess I'll have to sell all my fishing gear. I get no respect I tell ya.
Got to join the "loose weight" crowd. Need to drop 20lbs. Get myself back to 200 would be just right. Now that I am 40 it will be extra hard. :hoboy: No more donuts with sugar coating, no more chocolate bars, cut back on Pepsi from 3 cans to 1 a day. No more burgers, and so on. Got to get rid of the potential plumbers butt problems.
That and I wish for peace on earth good will towards men. graemlins/applause.gif

To all of you wanting to lose weight... I was a personal trainer for several years, I could give you some tips if you would like and if you want someone to set you up a workout routine, I can do that too!

My new years resolutions: not in any particular order.
1. Fish the spring run of chinook, "more often".
2. Catch over 14 steelhead: 14 for 22 this last year. Only 5 trips....hence fish for steelies more often.
3. Fish for the URBs "more often"...only 2 trips out this year, limits both trips.
4. Fish Fall chinook "more often" 6 for 6 this year.
Fit in trips for Sturgeon, kokanee, and walleye
