The kids and I are planning on being in the area with Pilar tomorrow - unless the wind is a-blowin'. Pilar had enough of that yesterday.
Hope to see you there!

I wish I could be out there with you guys but I will be anchored up at Safari Sams doing the birthday thing for my daughter. You guys hammer em and be safe.
5-Cents,
If the big W is kicking out a big mud plume, fish below Kelley Point. When that mud starts pumping out the bigger fish will usually tend to stack between the barn and Kelley Point. Good luck.......

Thanks Chris I'll try it.
You think out by where you were fishing during the challenge would be a good bet?
We have to get out and go fishing together sometime.

Shane,
You betcha..... The area I was fishing at the challenge should hold some bigger fish if the mud is pumping out. We got 30 plus fish in that spot on the day of the challenge but just couldn't get one to reach the legal limit. Last year when the W started puking mud that was our "honey hole." We had 18 consecutive trips to that area that averaged 2 keeps per trip. One day we manged 4 limits and seven more keepers that were put back. Let me know how it goes.
I would love to hook up for a trip sometime soon
