Just in time for Xmas. All Shimano reels are on sale at GI Joes, 20% off. Friend called and said that the signs are up at the Oak Grove store. Sherwood store said they just haven't got the signs up yet, but the reels are 20% off.

I just checked with them, and according to the clerk, only the spinning reels are on sale. I was interested in getting a Curado, but I was told that it's not on sale.

They sold them all at 20% off in Eugene, maybe we got a good deal?

Tualatin GI Joes has all Shimano reels including Curado’s & Calcutta’s for 20% off... as well as are Abu's ...

Diawa Millionaires were not on sale however.

You don’t see Shimano on sale very often.

Anyone know how long the sale is good for? Might have to go get a Curado BSF or Calcutta.

On the coupon, it states it does not apply to shimano and a list of other brands. Chances are, they will not catch it. I'd give it a try.

The 20% thing kills me. I just bought a new Curado 201BSF on Wednesday to replace one that was stolen. I'd take it back, but I had to get it wet on Thursday. Got my 10% discount with my N.W. Steelheaders card, but an extra 15 bucks would have been nice.

With the 20% discount, that gives you a BSF for the price of a regular curado.

I had a tackle box, my waders, and a few rods/reels stolen a couple of weeks ago. I am in the process of replacing the stuff. These insurance companies are getting tough. Lets say that I submit a claim for $1700 (replacement cost), they send me a check for that amount less my deductable. I then have to replace the stuff and send them copies of the receipts. Lets say I take advantage of some of these bargains and replace the stuff for $1500. I couldn't pocket the $200 bucks to help offset my deductable. I would have to send it back to them. Bummer!

They checked my coupon pretty close today.. it was a 25% off one, but they read through the whole thing to make sure it didn't have my item on it......
