East winds suck! It blew 20-25 all day with a few gusts that probably were 40ish, enough to blow boats off anchor in slack water.
Otherwise a mixed day with 7 fish hooked and only one to the boat.
I went with Ifisher First Light Bite (Ralph) who. after watching me lose 3 or four fish in a row, landed this nice 11+ pound hen.
http://www.ifish.net/uploads/165317352.jpg
Following that I managed to lose another fish before Rlaph stuck a chrome chinook 1/4 mile above the Sollie Smith takeout. After a epic 30 minute battle where Ralph had me rowing up, down and all over the darn river chasing this fish, we lost it :depressed: . I lost the last fish shortly after that and we called it a day.
Ralph, thanks for coming, thanks for the eggs, the food and the great company, I look forward to the next time!

Sounds like a fun day sans the wind
As far as loosing fish go Cracker Joe (quite a regular on my boat, in fact I would consider him first mate) always says...

Thanks a million it was a great day on the river, pretty cool hooking that big Chinook with light line. It was an epic 30 minute battle and it beat me fair and square :depressed: and desirved its freedom, (my arms still hurt.) But not as bad as yours I'll bet, trying to fight the east wind with the sticks all day. Too bad we didn't get one of your fish to the boat (darn rubber hooks). You meet the nicest people on ifish lets do it again soon. And thanks Jennie for giving us a forum to meet people with similar intrests thats 2 trips & 2 fish if your still counting.
Thanks again Brad just finished dinner mmgood

Hey Tilla and Fishalot. Nice to meet you guys today. It's always fun to meet Ifish guys on the river even if the wind was blowing so hard all I could see was a blurry siloquette. graemlins/1zhelp.gif

And soooooo....... Madwizerd,
  WHY THE HECK ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT MEN FISHING IN WOMENS UNDERGARMENTS...???
(please don't answer that question - I am very sure we don't want to go even near there)
And then we got Wiser saying "...don't blame madwizerd, He helped me touch magic last weekend when noone else was touching at all."
Uhhhhh.... guys (I think?) it is supposed to be about fishing here. The place for that "stuff" is on a "different" board. graemlins/berry.gif

PS: Dan, if you have any more such fettishes, especially ones that involve fantasies about me, I REALLY REALLY don't want to know about it.

UG, you should try out for Synchronized Swimming in the Olympics. I've never seen anything swim so perfectly synchronized. You can be the guy in the middle with all those women, with their legs wide open (I hope this is quite acceptable).

OMYKISS,
It was nice meeting you. The wind really set forth some challenges and reduced fishing efficiency.
I guess I better get a sticker on my DB. I know that half these guys going by are I fishers. Our only action was on the homemade Amerman Eggs.

O.mykiss,
Those home made Amerman's were out producing the shrimp for a couple of reasons. First off they stay on the hook better and longer.
