The old rhyme: Wind from the east, fish bite the least, wind from the south blows food into the fishes mouth, wind from the north few fishermen fair forth, wind from the west fish bite the best!

I think that's how it goes. Judging by the posts today, at least the East wind part appears to be true. :wink:

ON the columbia we had absolutely no problem catching fish.. just had a heck of a time finding a keeper. we left when we ran out of bait.
