[First Light Bite]

Fished below NF Nehalem Hatchery 1pm to dark today. Water was in good shape very fishable, but no fish to be found. Talked to about a dozen fisherman no one had seen or hooked any fish today so I guess they are not up that far yet. Water should be ok tomorrow if it doesn't rain too hard tonight. I think I will just tie-up more hooks tomorrow. :sleep:

They had 7 winter fish already up at the hatchery this year before the high water so they must be in there. It might just have been a slow day because that river gets a good run early in dec. They are in, just need to find them.

Fished lower river 3Hrs Thursday and 5 Hrs Friday to see only a couple fish cought.Very slow for the excelent water conditions.Hopefully they are just late but this is very abnormal for this time of year with the perfect conditons.
