Fished below the I-5 bridge today in what turned out to be a very calm morning on the water. Me and my buddy were anchored by 7:00 A.M and were pulling anchor to hit the ramp at 1:00. We put a total of 45 fish to the boat for two rods. One keeper and three or four more that were low 40's. A lot of fish in the middle to upper 20's.
The weather started to get a little wet by noon so we decided to call it a day. All fish were caught on smelt in 64 feet of water. If any of you are going in the morning be careful, it's gonna be pretty nasty.

Man, I wish I could catch those sturgies like you do. We have not had that great of luck recently. Sounds like fun.

Now that is the Tackle Buster I know, great to hear you got in to them. I need to get my boys out now that it's open again and get them a keeper. Thank you for the report.

Rich,
Lucky for you it was last week. Savor the flavor buddy cause next time you won't get seconds
Dylan,
You better get them boys of yours out soon cause if WaterDog has a repeat of last Saturday, the keeper fish may be depleted  The bite has been pretty good right below the railroad bridge. Lotsa feeesh graemlins/hearton.gif
