View Full Version : FYI Sandy today
Floated from Dabney to L&C. River was up and had about 3-4 feet of visibility. No fish, not even a bump, running plugs and drifting eggs. No one I saw had either. It started raining quite hard, around 1pm, as I was taking out. Sorry I can't post something more positive.

Spoke to the old man, he was out this morning for the early fish ... could see fish swim by so water was clear but didn't catch anything and didn't see anyone else catch anything. Fished Pipeline and around.

I also hit the Sandy this a.m. fishing throughout Oxbow and didn't touch a thing, nor did I hear of any caught. Conditions were better than I would of expected given yesterdays rain (vis. about 2') but the water is still low. Didn't appear any boats put in at Oxbow today. Highlight was seeing fresh bear tracks on the beach. Nice morning all things considered.
