I've been reading for months now and I thought it was about time to chirp in. I know I need a story so here goes. A few falls ago my dad and I were heading out in front of Columbia City for fall 'nooks but we were a few alvins shy. Knowing my neighbor had a bunch, we called him at work and asked if we could buy a couple off him. He said sure but they were in his boat so he told me to go cut a new one off his rod in his garage. A little later we were the proud owner of a beautiful half and half. We caught 14 'nooks in the next seven days on that one alvin. Another fisherman even asked to buy it for $100. No deal. My neighbor was glad we were getting fish but I think he wished he hadn't told us to take that alvin. : :hoboy:

Welcome aboard, Slough Rat4. Don't lose that neighbor. He would be harder to replace than the Alvin!
