Downtown run, just past the 2nd waterfall. Ran through the larger riffles in my pontoon, somehow it came out of the rodholder and 'Oh my God'I could'nt reach it before it went down. It's a Loomis 7/8 weight rod w/Lampson reel, yellow flyline w/darker tip...2' of heavier grain tip and egg pattern fly w/small brass bead&small pink bead attached. This was a gift from a dear old friend. A reward is offered...and I'm sure God will grant a plentiful bounty if returned. Call Dennis at 541.928.2836. Thanks!!

I'm going to do the around-the-town drift on Thursday. I'll watch this thread and if no one has picked it up, we'll scratch around a little bit. Hate to see a guy lose a treasure like that.

No luck, overfitty, but it was raining pretty hard when we went through that stretch and visibility wasn't great. The river was rising also which didn't help. As it drops and clears there may still be a chance.

overfifty-fished that run today and the water was on the upswing and muddy. Sorry didn't see your rod..but I will still keep an eye out for ya!!!

We fish the Siletz alot and we will keep and eye out for your flyrod and reel. I know how it feels. Dang!!!

Bringing this one back up for when you guys start floating the downtown run...if & when the water level ever comes back down! I have a feeling it may have moved since I first lost it, though!!
