Found rod and reel on the Nestucca

Hey,

I floated from first bridge to Cloverdale the other day and I found a brand new rod and reel with a plug still attached. If this is yours, e-mail me with a description and I will try and return it.

T.B. Almost two weeks ago I lost a G.Loomis GL3 9000 C overboard. It had a Calcutta 251 attached as well as a beautiful copcar tadpolly. The reel was loaded with fl. green braided line. However I think it was lost on a river 18 miles north.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately what you described doesn't match the description of what I actually found. I don't want to list the details for fear of someone contacting me when it isn't actually theirs. Hope all is well,

It's mine. The rod is long, thicker at the bottom than the top. It's got a bunch of guides on it. The reel has a handle and hold a bunch of line.
Must be the one I lost. Did I describe the one you found or what. :grin:
joking aside, that's very stand-up of you to look for the owner, most would just snatch it up for their own. I hope you find the owner, and kudos
to you for being an honest Abe.

Talked to a guy at the three rivers hatchery who said he'd lost a rod on Sat. Didn't know him or where exactly he lost it.
