Dirty low-life SOB's!

Discovered that someone stole the power auger out of my garage over the weekend - probably Friday night/Saturday morning. Son visiting from out-of-town apparently left the door open when he came home from night-clubbing. Otherwise it's always closed except when parking truck inside.

Guess I can consider myself lucky cause the idiots walked right by over $1,000 in rods/reels and assorted fishing tackle, and there was a 4-hp kicker motor and lots of other stuff as well. Go figure!

I haven't used the auger in a couple years and was considering selling it to get cash for some boat jewelry.

My neighbor lost a battery charger [they didn't touch mine so it must not have been as nice] at the same time - one of his two doors has been open for weeks cause the opener is broke. They passed up other goodies in his garage that they could have taken. My guess was they were in a hurry.

Apparently the creeps knew what they wanted or what they could fence. Bothers me that they might try to come back and get what they left behind. I live on a small cul de sac with only 4 homes, all of which are set back from the road a fair distance. Pretty gutsy....the hand guns, rifles and shotguns are all loaded, just in case of unwanted visitors while I'm around. graemlins/berry.gif
