WELL !! You have all heard by now!!
Opening day the water was not a pretty sight.
Big boats - 30 plus - turned around and came back. Lots of little boats that should not have been out there stayed! Same old thing that always happens. :hoboy: But - THERE WERE FISH - AND SOME NICE BIG FISH BOTH COHO AND KINGS !! :cheers:
Fortunately, Len had a couple of Sturgeon Catch And Release Days scheduled - so July 1st was his first shot at the ocean.

Len reaches into his hat and pulls out ANOTHER LIMIT!!! Not huge fish - but for the opening of the season they are very respectable.
AND - they are only going to get BIGGER AND BIGGER!!! :dance: :dance:
What a hoot!! We love this time of year! SALMON FEVER!! - :laugh:
Back to the Sturgeon - Limits of nice big fish were caught. Want to keep them but can't so gotta change that frame of mind and enjoy the experience. It is so much fun! If you do not like the Ocean Fishing but want to go fishing - this is a very fun option!!
P.S. There are no pictures of the Catch and Release fish. These guys should be left in the water.
Otherwise - remember that Buoy 10 opens August 1st in the Columbia!!
BOOK NOW TO GET THE BEST DATES!!
Gotta run get that guy ready for another day in the creek!
