Jim Boyles sent me this email and photo's
I bought some of your orange steelhead cure and cured some eggs up. Those are the best looking eggs I have ever used, and they worked. I took my two boys(Austin in the hat and Trevor) on the Siuslaw River earlier in December. Here are the pictures from the trip. I have never seen steelhead take eggs like that.

Proof they worked.
Also the end of the year ends our salmon season. Chinooks pushed in right to the end, and I am sure we will have to release some the next couple weeks. I knew there would be chinooks around in December because there always are, and I figured with the late rains and huge run this year, it would be better than normal, but even I had no idea it would be that good. We hooked Chinooks every trip in December but one and caught these two on our last trip of the year.

What a fall chinooks season and early start to steelhead fishing. The fall started off in September with my clients limiting out(landing two or more fish each) on 36% of our trips, in Oct they limited on 70% of our trips, in Nov. they limited 83% and Dec was an amazing 94% (only missing 100% by 1 fish 1 day). We only got skunked once (Sept. 18th) but our best day was an 18 fish day (followed by three 15 fish days)
