First Light Bite

I was told about ifish in October and finally decided to join in. I own a 20ft. Predator and fish mostly Tillamook county bays and streams.
Probably my most enjoyable fishing trip took place on Christmas Eve several years ago on the Wilson river at a place no longer there because of the '96 flood. Dad and I were fishless and were heading home but decided to fish one more spot. And you guessed it the fish were stacked up like cord wood. For about an hour we hooked fish on at least every other cast. All the fish we seen were native 12-15lbs. Chromers, and we never even came close to landing any of them. Talk about some wild fish I even had one spit my corkie back at me and hit me in the head from about 10 ft. away. The river no longer runs through there but the memory will last a lifetime sometimes its just about the fishing and not the catching. I have a fishing wife who is hooked on Alaska and understands the addiction. Anyway HI to all, glad to be here.
