Bobber Down

Set up at daylight on the lower Wilson. First cast of the morning, bobber down reeled down on it to set it - not there. My son threw his offering in there for his first cast, bobber down - he reeled down and pulled the triger, fish on. We (I) netted it, nice chrone fish. Then one boat up stream had a fish on for a minute then it came undone. Then that was it, never saw nothing after that. Everything happened at first light. We left at noon because my son got called to work. It was a nice day on the river, I'm sure there must of been an afternoon bite. Allot of boat traffic up and down and everyone was saying slow or nothing. I heard a rumor that I should of been there yesterday. I had a nice time fishing with my son and that's very important to me...........Bobber Down

we did kansas creek and another hole up from there, ran all over the place and came up empty handed. saw some upper kilchis water that would be great for winter steelies, lot's of wilson water that would be great for steelies too. i got an idea of what drifting the wilson is about and now know where the ramps are. i'll probably be out there next weekend drifting for steelies and nooks.
Did the lower end on Saturday, you didn't miss anything! :depressed:
Drifted the upper Kilchis to the Logger Bridge on Friday and landed one fairly nice hen. One other bobber down but came back up empty. That section was getting pretty low. Thinking about fishing it lower tomorrow. Any reports? Thanks.
