We went to barview jetty for some jetty fishing and did pretty good. Lot's of kelp greenling and sea bass. On the way back to Forest Grove we stopped at the Trask River hatchery. What a sight. We saw several chinook that went 50lb swimming up the creek. My father in law who is from North Carolina couldn't believe what he was seing. Tom Brokaw is uasually telling him about the salmon that he is seeing from 3000 miles away. He got to witness it first hand and somewhat understand's the importance of the salmon to the Pacific Northwest. If you haven't made it to the Trask River hatchery please do so. It's a sight you will not forget.
