FEAR NO FISH!

I took future Ifisher Brad (aka Turtle) to
McNary last night for battle with the
metalheads. When the water finally settled
the tally was : 11 steelhead on with 8
landed. 4 were natives and 4 were beautiful
hatchery hens. 36, 35, 35 and 25 inch
steelies.

Have fish on ice, will get pics a little
later.

It was Turtles 1st nocturnal trip for
steelhead. The boy is now spoiled. Another
one crosses over to the dark side!

It is the wifes B-day on Sunday. Honey,
can I go one more night?

LIGHTED KWIKFISH WORK! 8 trips, 46 on, 36
landed!!!!

I Love the NORTHWEST! Sorry, too many
Silver Bullets!!!! Must Sleeeeeeep!

FEAR NO FISH!

I know I can probably look this up in the reg's but posting is more fun, do you know if an Oregon license holder can fish at night for steelhead if he holds a Wash. lic. also. ?

Steve,

Are you going out tonight? If so, do you have a FSR radio? Channel? I am calling around right now looking for someone who wants to go. Hope to see you out there.

Neutron,
You need to get some of this action!
Huntar,
Make sure you put a plug in the drain hole and throw an electric motor on that baby!
Jetsled1,
It is no problem for Oregon Fisher people to fish on the Washington side.
Greenhead,
I don't own one of those fancy radios yet but I have 2 tin cans with a really long string. I use 80 pound fireline since it floats!
Got to go take some pics.

Fire,
I only fish at night but with the amount
of steelies still in the system, dayshift
would probably be effective. Tip your
plugs front treble with a chunk of
shrimp. I had a buddy troll by last night
and he asked me how we were doing. He
said that they had one fish on but it
came unpinned. I asked him if he was
tipping his treble with a chunk of shrimp
and he replied that he didn't believe
that a chunk of shrimp was necessary. I
then informed him that we had 9 on and
landed 7 at that point. Some people just
listen but don't really hear you! Oh
well.
