Went up to the J.D. today and trolled around for some steelhead. Lots and lots of people fishing up there. We didn't see a whole lot of fish caught but my dad and I ended up with 4 fish for the day. Water looked real good! A few people on this board said that the weeds had been terrible but we had virtually no trouble, the water looked real good and the weather wasn't to bad. We trolled wiggle warts all day and changed colors often. It didn't seem as though color made much difference. Caught one on a Michael jackson, one on a purple wart, one on the standard flo. orange, and the last one of the day took a metallic green.
