Hellow my name is Patti and I moved to oregon 8 weeks ago. Im a dog groomer by profession but I try to live for fishing. I came from salt lake city utah

I also own a 12 foot folda fishing boat im hopeing to soon have a motor for but it rows great too. Im going to try for a steely at river mill dam tomorrow. .Any info would be greatly apreiciated. Welcome to iFish Patti. My number one partner is my 2 year old. She loves to fish, just not the catching part. The problem is she catches better than she fishes, which I guess in not a problem. When it's time to go home she goes, whether dad is ready or not.

Welcome aboard Patti! Sounds like you got a second generation ifisher coming up soon. Good luck on the fishing. I think you'll find a lot more variety here than you did in Salt Lake. Oops- that means more gear! :depressed:

Welcome Patti.....

I think you'll find all the divergent views and opinions you're seeking. Ifiish are a lively group of folks, to all our collective credit!

If you're interested in the eastern gorge, email me..... I'm a boat owner, and once in awhile, I even manage to put a fish or two in the boat......

The more I learn from all my fellow ifishers, the more I realize I don't know, but that's part of learning what gear I don't have......

Welcome..... Tim
