It just occured to me with the last few days of fresh-fish pics that the fall fish seem to have much less depth to the tail than other salmonids. The tail is just as tall, but not as long. Kinda TUNA-like. More turbulent water for shorter distances to power through as opposed to longer runs through deeper water? Or is this all just a figment of my imagination?
