A beautiful day to be fishing-anywhere. Enjoyed the fall colors and that special "feel" of fall.But the fish were scattered, some were attempting to make redds.Hatchery guy says they have 5000 and expect another 10,000 to 15,000 .The Creek is low and clear and very few fisherman. Had a couple on but they don't count -just frustrated bucks all colored up- tired of waiting and of me . May hit it next week.

Jim: Also there today -lower and upper E. Creek. Lower was quiet. Upper had fish scattered (as you said). Very few without color.

I will try again when, and if, the creek comes up substantially. Hopefully we will get water and steelhead soon. Drifter.
