Whats up guys, i came from the south sound of washington to attend the university of oregon. GO DUCKS!!!! anyways i joined the forum to see where to go fishing here in the eugene area. I am mainly looking for salmon and steelhead streams.

Okay now for my stories, when i first got my waders i was very excited and a little to brave. I was fishing the satsop river with my dad and bro and i decided to try to cross the river. I was doing pretty good until i tripped on a rock and then i was swept down stream! The waders actually helped me float for a while until i was able to grab on to a tree branch that was overhanging the water.

During the summer when i was fishing with a guide in the florida keys, there was some thunderstorms pretty close to us. It was at the end of the day and we didn't catch a bonefish yet and he was trying real hard to find one before the t-storms got to us. Anyways we heard the lightning and all of the sudden the tips of our rods were humming. i thought we were going to get struck and the guide put the boat into high gear and we hauled ass to get home. That was very scary, DON'T GO BOATING DURING A LIGHTNING STORM!!!!!

Yikes! The rods started humming while you were holding them?

Oh! I guess then, that we have a built in warning system, with a graphite rod?

How long do we have till we get really zapped?

a nanosecond?

Nice stories, thanks for sharing, and welcome to ifishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
