i believe there needs to be a way to save a particular post for future reference.....u know how it goes.....somebody puts some good advice on here and it isnt needed today but in a few months it might be nice to reference that post later on

Try the search feature, located near the top of this page near the Ford banner. A great way to find older information.

You an simply right click inside the post and add it to your favorites with any name you like. As long as the post still exists the query string variables in the URL will direct you back to the proper post.

Every year we archive all information also.
These archives are kept in a 'read only' database, and can be searched.
So, if you don't find it in the search in the ifish community, use the drop down list, and find "Ifish archives 2000", and "ifish archives 2001".
Wow, TOO MUCH INFO!
Thanks,
Jen

another thing you may try is to highlight the post (control c) and then copy it to your word processor .. open the word processor pgm then hit control v. This should make it permanent on your drive.
I do this for posts that I want to refer to later and not have to search for.

I think that if you put it in your favorites and check the box "make available off line" it will save a copy of everything on your hard drive. Then you have it, even the photo's, for as long as you like.
