How bad is the wind in Tillamook. I only have tommorrow to fish for the next couple of weeks. Anybody give me a weather update. Don't mind cold and rain, but, the wind can really make it suck!

Yesterday in Trask tidewater there were 30 to 40mph winds in the am. I bailed the boat at least six times. Each time it had about six to eight inches in it. Didn't see a single fish hooked above 5th street ramp. I'm not complaining about the rain though. Bring it on... just slowly.

Thanx for the response dogfishboy. The sled got a bilge pump! I'll try pulling some Thumpers from Jacksalmon down. Was good for two bright hens the last time.

Scott,
The leaves were not as bad as I thought they were going to be. Lots of BIG woody debris with the high tides. Hwy 6 Thursday morning was incredible. I could hardly see the road most of the time. Couldn't see the lines or anything. Just a sea of leaves.

Just got home from the Trask tidewater. Launched Friday morning at 7:30 by the Oyster House...after a couple of hours on the Tillamook by the launch, trolled up the Trask to close to the Hospotal Hole. no off color, no debris.. had some rain... but the rain driven by the gale force winds were a pain. Could not keep a troll... ended up going back to the launch and out to Barview
to waith the rollers crest over the jetties.

Only saw one dark coho hooked all day. What with the real rough bar and little rain, I doubt many fich were drawn in yet.... did not see any today!

I fished it sun up to sun down, saw one whiskey colored fish caught on a spinner, and I released a boot on bobber. Did not see any others caught. Fish rolling though..........rain
