License question????

I was aware of the 1 & 3 day licenses covering your harvest tag. He already has a regular fishing license though. I spoke with ODFW and he does need a harvest tag. No big deal. It is only $6.50 for a junior.

I have a nephew in town for the weekend checking out the U of PDX. He has not done much fishing. I invited him sturgeon fishing and he wants to go. Does he need a harvest tag to fish for sturgeon even on a C & R basis, or is the tag only needed to retain sturgeon?

I'm not sure I know the answer to your specific question, but if he purchases a 1-day or 3-day license the tag comes with it hence no issue............hope that helps.
