FEAR NO FISH!

I fished from 5:30 pm to 5:00 am last night. At 6:30 pm, I landed a 10 lb nate. At 8:30 pm, I hooked and landed another 37 inch hatchery fish wearing all his colors.
I had never seen the dam as busy as it was. At one point there were three barges in action. You had to have your head on a swivel. I continued to troll all over creation. At 2:30 am, I was trolling into the nav lock when the bridge went up, over my head. The nav lock gates started to open but I didn't see anything in them. That meant something was coming up the wing wall. I started to move away from the wing wall when my rod doubled over. Now I had to contend with pulling the fish out to clear water away from the barge. Have you ever tried to control a big native that was out to eat your lunch? I would pull and it would jump. I made it to clear water with the deck hand on the bow of the barge clapping his hands. That fish weighed approximately 18 pounds. I released her unharmed , but I can't say the same for my shorts! K-13 Kwikfish strikes again! I might go back again tonight but am bordering on exhaustion. Body breaking down, must sleep.
