Here is the next step. Fiberglassing to follow.

I have sanded the edges smooth, and have applied one coat of "bondo" to fill in any dents, etc. Two more bondo coats and sandings and I will get the fiberglass on this weekend! I might even have a chance to get the paint on as well.

That looks so cool ! Good for you and yee haa that is hard work but it will pay off you can say you did it. That makes it more special when you float down the river, catching fish!

Lots of hard work there Dogfish. Been there done that over the years. Had three wood drifters and
enjoyed them alot, except for upkeep. Just a word of advice. I always use my leaf blower to blow out water and moisture in the boat before storing it. That really helps in the winter months after a hard rain and fishing all day. Dries it out faster. I still use the blower on the Willie Boat before I put it to bed.
