Has anyone heard speculation on this coming years Spring,Summer, and Fall chinook runs? The jack counts look lower this year than last years. How good an indicator is that?

Last years springer jack returns totaled 14,172, this years total was 6477. So based on that only as an indicator the Springer run will be a little less than half of what is was this year. Counts are from the Fish Passage Center website. Heres the link

Good luck and tight lines, Jeff

Based on good jack counts over the Willamette fish latter, I would guess it will be a good year for the Clack, and Willamette. Maybe over 100K.
There are no fish on the Columbia, stay away......
