Hey all....

It's been a while since I last chimed in on the board...and even longer since I've put something "fresh" on the air.

Let me bring you up to speed with what is happening with the show...

First of all, we ARE still around and have taped 5 new shows. We also have plans to tape several others over the next 2 months, ranging from tidewater chinook to Goose Hunts in Eastern Oregon.

The reason we are not placing any new shows on Cable Access is because we are trying to get the show to the next level. In order to do that, the bigger networks (ASCN & AT&T) request only "first run" of all new shows. In other words, they do not want us to air a show before they do, in order to satisfy their sponsors. Also...they request all 13 new shows in advance...versus shows delivered as they're made. I guess I can't blame them. That's the way we've been doing the show for 4 years now...Tape a show and 2 weeks later, it's on the air.

So, instead of playing constant re-runs of old shows in both Vancouver and Salem, I've elected to wait until we "unveil" the newly redesigned programs. I'm sure you'll like where we're going with this thing.

Lastly, we are looking for a few good sponsors to help support the show. I really don't care at this time whether it's Joes Lawnmower Repair or...G.Loomis. I just need to help pay for the air time, my videographer and post production editing guy. The days of ME doing the videography AND editing is over. Just takes too much time.

So.....if you know of someone interested in helping support the show, please feel free to give me a call. The show, under the new format, will be aired all along the Oregon Coast on up to Long Beach, Washington. It will also air throughout the Willamette Valley to Eugene, Corvallis, Salem, Portland, Vancouver and all other outlying areas covered by AT&T and ASCN. That's over 600,000 Households.

Hang in there....we're still trying hard to make a go of it!

I look forward to the new shows, new name, and the talents of the staff you had to hire. This could become your day job.
