Have my one year anniversary coming up...need to find a place to escape to. Anyone know of a quaint, romantic place that accepts dogs? Trying to find seclusion, hot tub, etc. Thanks!

Wow - 1 yr anniv, hot tub, quaint, seclusion romantic? Must be one heck of a dog ya got there. Why don't you really treat her out and take her duck hunting, I'm sure she'd love it!  PS - I don't know about Texas (might be cool there), not so sure that this is legal in Oregon!

Last I heard, Shelter Cove Resort and Odell Lake Lodge took dogs. Both are cool, out of the way places (with access to great lake fishing for macks and kokes).

If you are not planning on fishing, Salishan Lodge (on the coast) and Columbia Gorge Hotel (Hood River) both take dogs in some of their rooms. Call for details.

Tex

How about the Red Lion at Astoria? They allow dogs and they have very reasonable rates. The crabbing is good and the resturants are outstanding.

How far are you willing to drive? Bend has tons of cabins for rent in secluded areas. Many with hot tubs. We usually rent a place every year and absolutely love it.

Miss B....there's always a smart ass in the crowd. Usually its me though. Good shot...left that one wide open.

I think I may have found a place...but we'll see. Thanks for the suggestions!

Tex - Glad to see you have a sense of humor. I was a little worried you might take it personal like! I was going to say something about bringing some bubble flea soap for the hot tub, but I figured I could get shot for insinuating that your dog had fleas!
Never leave yourself open on this board, you don't have to, they'll get you anyway! graemlins/eek13.gif
LOL - Have a really good weekend. If you tell us where you're going we'll have some flowers sent by special delivery -promise!   graemlins/stupid.gif

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Full body slam!!

Mel, I am upset that I didn't see and think of that one first!

Glad there was no harm no foul taken on this one. I think C&E and TR, not to mention Skid Mark are all out to get me!

Your dog can stay with me, then you can go anywhere you like.

As long it's a "real" dog and not a yapper/football dog.

Unless it's a "BAD DOG"!
