Was at Dabney State Park yesterday. Lots of silvers, but all we saw were pretty dark.

Same up at Cedar Creek, plus they're not hitting; just sitting there hugging bottom in the low clear water.

I wouldn't call any of them silvers now. All the fish for the most part are dark and not biting. The last two trips I made on the sandy for coho, I ended up taking home a steelhead. A 15lb and 6lb cromer. Plenty of fish in the river, just need to find a bright biter. The only bright fish that I have caught in the last two weeks were steelys. Good luck! Brian

Check out ChuckDog's Washougal/Sandy report from last Thursday. There are a few bright late fish trickling in to the Sandy. They are typically more aggressive than those that have been there 4 weeks so by covering a lot of water it might be possible to get a nice one. At least I'm gonna give it one more try.

I went on Monday.... It was very slow... we saw a lot of fish but they are lock-jawed and are very dark. I did see a fly fisherman catch 1 silver and 3 Jacks in about 25 minues on a green colored wet fly.

Fished the Sandy today at the end of Marsh Rd., boy those fish and cute and fuzzy and I mean fuzzy. I found two that were hungry for some fresh cured nookie eggs but I would rather have eaten the nookie eggs! Lots of fish still there but man the only thing bright on those fish are all the Blue Fox lures hanging off of their backs.
Save your time and breakfast!
Good luck,
Andy

All the fish I have seen the last couple of weeks have been dark with lock jaw.

Bring a number 5 hook and a couple of number 4 or better Blue Foxes and snag all the fish you want; why not, that's what about 50 percent of the morons are doing down there.
true.

I think half would be almost right. My Dad(HBJ) and I went to dabney and saw three fishermen two of whom were snagging. One even brought his entire family along.
