well i went out with travis (Fins Feathers Furs)
and oh what fun i had.this guy serves you great food , drink and fun. answered all questions i had even one i had to pry out of him ( dont worry travis you will never see me in that
hole using that trick ).i ended the day with a mid 30's spotty tail.one lady on the boat landed a huge coho, the biggest travis or i had ever seen, must have been low twentys.fishing was slow that day ,i bet we only saw or heard of 13 fish on ,out of 200 boats and 3 were in his boat.(dont worry travis i wont talk about that last one),with that % i want to see his % on a good day. i wasn't there for the fish ,i was there for some fishing and didn't want to be behind the motor all day.its been a long time sense i have been in another persons boat and will have to do it again soon.he had his great, well mannered dog on board that was my best friend on the trip.

i took the trip with him because of his offer to ifishers for 2 trips for $150.00.
his post here (http://www.ifish.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=25;t=000002)

i would like to call out to all ifishers to call this great guy up at ((( finsfeathers@aol.com ))))and get some trips while they last.even if you have your own boat you cant beat this deal.and you can even book the same day(dec. 21st) as me for the winter steelhead trip, what a treat for you.(travis and me)

travis

I don't believe a thing you say.
Therefore, to prove it to me, you must give me your other trip.

Travis really must be a great guide. The reason I know is he took my brother, along with two others, yesterday and was actually able to get my brother into two fish (if you knew my brother and his ability to skunk a boat, if not a whole river, you would realize how big of an accomplishment this is!). His two fish were nice chinook of 25 and 30 lbs. For the day, they also released a native coho (evidently, only about half the size of Madwiz's fish - making it about 10-12 lbs) and lost another fish that briefly felt the hook. From what I was told (again, I was stuck in central oregon while the rest of the state goes salmon fishing  ) these three fish to the boat made for a great day when compare with many of the other boats that were out there. Oh yeah, they were fishing everywhere from the Ghost Hole up to Memaloose.

As Madwiz mentioned, his two for one deal is incredible for such an outstanding day on the water, be it chinook now or steelhead later.

If you go just dont stiff him  for the tip as the great wiz did.

Man we haven't even fished together yet and I'm already giving you a hard time. You should join the be like Roy (BOE) club and learn the secret handshake.
